About

To be honest, I don’t think you really need to know much about me – this isn’t about my qualifications or who I am.  However, since everything I write on this blog will be coming from my experiences and my theology, I guess I should give you a context.

I’m a mother of a large family living in a rural community in the UK.  I grew up in the city and went to a large, evangelical & charismatic ‘house church’ from birth.  About age 12, when apartheid came to an end in South Africa and the Berlin wall came down, I became intensely interested in global affairs.  I spent my youth among other young people who loved Jesus, which gave me a solid foundation for my faith.  We had youth church rather than youth group, and spent many evenings, early mornings and the odd weekend praying.  I felt Father calling me to be an intercessor.  After school, I spent a couple of years working in the UK with a mission agency and then went to Bible College to study theology.  During that time I joined other Christians praying at global political gatherings.  After college I met my husband and we moved to several different countries over the years  with his work  – not as a missionary, but feeling that each place we went to was directed by Father’s purposes for me.  Now we are settled into this rural community and I feel a new call from my Father to focus in a deeper way in prayer for global crises and global politics.
